Continuing education credit for multiple disciplines will be provided for DSHS Grand Rounds. To see which types of CE credit each presentation offers, please visit Presentations. The presentation slides and handouts are available for downloading from the Grand Rounds website at Presentations the evening before each presentation.
If you wish to receive continuing education credit/contact hours or a certificate of attendance, you may either:
- Join us in person at the presentation in the K-100 Lecture Hall in Austin (see map). Please register for the presentations you wish to attend, and sign in when you arrive.
- View the presentation as it happens, while sitting at your own computer! Please note: If you wish to view the webinar in a group, only the person logged in will be automatically included in the attendance list to receive CE credit/contact hours. In order for all members of the viewing group to receive CE credit/contact hours for viewing the live webinar, each additional attendee must email CE.Service@dshs.state.tx.us the day of the presentation to let us know you attended. Please see "Certificate of Attendance" below for more information.
Question and Answer Period (remote sites)
There will be a question and answer period at the end of each presentation. You may submit questions throughout the presentation by either:

Individuals who signed in at the Austin (K-100) location or who logged
in for the webinar (or, if watching as a group, emailed CE Service), and
attended the entire event will receive an email the following business
day, containing a link to the event evaluation. Participants will have
until the close of business the Friday following the receipt of the
email to complete the evaluation. Certificates will be emailed the
following Monday to those participants who completed the evaluation.
