It cannot be used to get treatment or infection history for individuals, or to request information on programs and services. Recycle, reuse and conserve at the Texas HIV/STD Conference!

DSHS wants to promote the health of our planet as well as our bodies.

  • Each registered conference attendee will receive an eco-friendly messenger bag.
  • Presenters will post electronic handouts and PowerPoint presentations to Slide Share [Slideshare]. Nix the hard copies and save a tree!
  • The conference evaluation will be electronic; no more big stacks of paper to haul around!
  • When possible, supplies purchased for the conference are made of recycled materials.
  • Reduce your carbon footprint and use your shiny new conference water bottle throughout the week (and beyond) instead or purchasing plastic water bottles.
  • Conference lanyards consist of 100% recycled materials. Recycle them at the registration desk before you leave!
