Invited attendees include state and local health officials; city and county officials; emergency management coordinators; clinicians; hospital personnel; school, college and university officials; business and community leaders; nonprofit organizations; and professional associations.
Why: Discuss the recent novel H1N1 flu outbreak in Texas and preparedness plans for future outbreaks of H1N1 or other forms of influenza. Sessions provide state, regional and local perspectives on pandemic influenza preparedness planning and response.
