The Texas Cancer Registry (TCR) uses Web Plus for facility (reporter) submissions of data files in the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) format. Web Plus helps simplify the management of your secure file transfer process when moving submission files to the TCR. With this software, there is no need to manually install, manage, and maintain file transfer software on each user's desktop. Additional information can be found on TCR's Web Plus page.
Data Security to Protect Confidentiality
To ensure that your data submissions cannot be intercepted or decrypted by anyone other than the Texas Cancer Registry, all data files are encrypted and protected using SSH encryption. Upon entering Web Plus, your data files are automatically directed to the secure server and all information transmitted is encrypted in transit. This automatic process requires no action on the part of the cancer reporter. For more information, please visit the Web Plus Security Features page on the CDC's website.
