Tick-borne Relapsing Fever (TBRF) Data

Home   Overview   Resources

  • Texas
The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has records of TBRF dating back to 1933. From 1933 to 2020, there were 605 cases reported. TBRF was not on the Texas Notifiable Conditions list for years 1952-1953, 1987-1993 and 2016-2020; however, cases were reported for some of these years in the reporting category of "outbreak, exotic disease, or unusual group expression of disease that may be of public health concern."
