Legislation Concerning Reptile–Associated Salmonellosis
Chapter 81 of the Texas Health and Safety Code, requires that retail pet stores that sell reptiles post warning signs and distribute written warnings to purchasers of reptiles pertaining to reptile-associated salmonellosis.
