APPLICATION DEADLINE: A Concept Note must be submitted online. Following review of your concept note, if Walmart or the Walmart Foundation is interested in pursuing your request, a full proposal requesting additional information will be invited. Due to the large volume of inquiries received, Walmart or the Walmart Foundation is unable to provide an exact timeframe during which the concept note will be reviewed.

ELIGIBILITY: Organizations should be eligible 501(c)3 or international equivalent organizations. Organizations in the U.S. must be listed in the most current IRS 50 State Master File at the time the application is submitted. Nonprofit organizations must operate on a national scope through chapters/affiliates in many states around the country or through programs that operate regionally/locally but seek funding to replicate program activities nationally.
PURPOSE: Walmart.org strives to improve access and availability to healthier food and supports programs that provide nutrition education to increase people’s confidence in selecting, preparing and serving healthier foods. While food insecurity exists in all communities, Walmart.org seeks to fund organizations that have the capacity to administer sub-grants and build capacity across networks of organizations to scale proven strategies, test and evaluate place-based efforts or innovative approaches that could have the potential to scale in the future. To be eligible, programs must support underserved and food insecure households.
