APPLICATION DEADLINE: Aug. 2, 2022, 4 p.m. CDT. Follow the instructions on the "How to Enter" tab on the program website to submit a Phase 1 proposal. Submission details for Phases 2 and 3 will be posted prior to the start of each phase.
$ AVAILABLE: Award amounts:
• $10,000 will be awarded to up to 30 Phase 1 winners.
• $20,000 will be awarded to up to 15 Phase 2 winners.
• A 1st place prize of $150,000 will be awarded to one recipient in Phase 3.
• Awards ranging from $100,000 – $15,000 will be awarded to the 2nd place through 8th place entries.
ELIGIBILITY: The challenge is open to any individual, group, entity, or group of entities that meet the following criteria:
• Private entities must be incorporated and maintain a primary place of business in the United States.
• Individuals, participating singly or in a group, must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
• Federal entities or federal employees acting within the scope of their employment are not eligible.
• Participants must enter the Phase 1 competition to be eligible to advance to Phase 2 and Phase 3.
PURPOSE: The Building Bridges to Better Health: A Primary Health Care Challenge competition is seeking to advance the development and testing of low-cost, scalable technical assistance solutions that can improve outcomes for patients at Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). Proposed solutions should focus on addressing key drivers of poor health and social determinants of health, including barriers to accessing medical, social, housing, educational, or other related services.
