Required Training - DSHS Researchers
Texas Health & Human Services managers, employees, and agents can determine if their study participation is considered engaged in human subject research by reviewing the federal guidelines. Please reference Texas state statutes, health codes, and administrative codes for further guidance.
Texas DSHS employees and contractors are required to complete the Office for Human Research Protections, Protecting Human Research Participants or Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) online training at least every five years.
For more information on registering for the online training, please email InstitutionalReviewBoard@dshs.texas.gov.
