Environmental Hazards Programs
The mission of the Environmental Hazards Programs is to protect and promote physical and environmental health for Texans. We strive to prevent unnecessary exposure to asbestos, lead-based paint, hazardous chemicals, abusable volatile chemicals, and hazardous products in workplaces, homes, schools, and other public spaces. Through the outreach efforts of our respective programs we educate the public to gain voluntary compliance with state and federal laws. We carry out our mission efficiently, effectively, fairly and professionally with respect and dedication to all Texans.
