In the Regular Session of the 89th Texas Legislature, the Legislature passed Senate Bill 1 to appropriate funds to the Department of State Health Services for the continuation of the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) Incubator Program.
FQHC Incubator Program Open Enrollment Information
We would like to announce two open enrollment periods for the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Incubator program:
- New Health Center Location (Application available January 12, 2026, see update below): This Open Enrollment will provide funding to Health Centers looking to:
- Expand services to new clinical sites for existing FQHCs and FQHC Look-Alikes.
- Support health centers aiming to attain FQHC Look-Alike status or other Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) health center funding, such as New Access Point funding.
- Upcoming Open Enrollment for Project-Based Funding: An additional open enrollment will be available soon, focusing on Project-Based Funding. More details will be available soon and will be posted to this website.
