Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Incubator Program

In the Regular Session of the 89th Texas Legislature, the Legislature passed Senate Bill 1  to appropriate funds to the Department of State Health Services for the continuation of the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC ) Incubator Program.

The FQHC Incubator Program is intended to support non-profit health care organizations in their ability to increase access to health care for Texans through expanding existing FQHC’s and FQHC look-alikes as well as supporting new non-profit and public entities through the FQHC development process.
