Laboratory Connect 2024!

Advance registration is required to attend Laboratory Connect 2024 and will close on April 22, 2024. Registration and lunch are provided FREE of charge.

Intended audience:

This conference is intended for public health and clinical laboratory staff, epidemiologists, health department staff, and other public health workers in Texas.

Travel Details:

• The conference site is the UT Commons Conference Center in north Austin, TX. The Commons Conference Center is located at the Pickle Research Center campus.

• There is parking available at the venue. Parking permits will be emailed closer to the event.

• If needed, a list of hotels within a three-mile radius of Pickle Campus may be found here​. 

• The local airport is the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. ​​The airport code is AUS.

Your health and safety are important to us. While masks are optional to attend this conference, we encourage all individuals who prefer to wear them to do so, and we fully respect that personal decision.​ 

The conference will be in-person only (no virtual aspects) and include 7 sessions. Session times vary so please refer to the agenda. The conference will take place in the Balcones room (1.108) and a networking lunch will be provided in the Atrium. Please arrive early to sign-in and receive your welcome packet.

The Texas Department of State Health Services Laboratory is an approved provider of continuing education (CE) programs in the clinical laboratory sciences through the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Science P.A.C.E.® program.

Attendees have the opportunity to earn up to 6 contact hours by attending the entire conference.  Attendance and completion of the survey is required for receipt of a CE certificate at the end of the conference.
