Can CE Service help me renew my license?
No; CE Service is a provider of continuing education and has no authority to provide or renew any type of license.

Can CE Service help me renew my continuing education Provider status?
No; CE Service is a provider of continuing education and has no authority to provide or renew continuing education Provider status. 
If you need Provider status help, please contact the appropriate accreditation Board for more information.

I am part of an organization outside of HHSC/DSHS; can CE Service help me offer continuing education credits/contact hours for my event?
If you are co-hosting your event with a HHSC/DSHS program, please ask your HHSC/DSHS counterpart to reach out to us to see if we can help you. We are only able to work with Event Planners within HHSC/DSHS.

What types of “events” does CE Service help with?
CE Service can assist in providing continuing education credits/contact hours for the following types of events:

  • Live – occur at a certain time and have a person available to answer questions; can be in person or virtual
  • Enduring – usually online; available for participants to view at any time
  • Regularly Scheduled Series – events that are planned as a series with multiple, ongoing sessions, e.g., offered weekly, monthly, or quarterly; examples: journal clubs, M&Ms, lecture series, case conference

I am part of HHSC/DSHS and would like to offer continuing education credits/contact hours for my upcoming event. Can you help me?
Yes! Please complete the Pre-Application Form, so that we may better assist you.

I attended an event where DSHS CE Service provided the continuing education credits/contact hours. Can you help me locate my certificate?
Please reach out to the Event Planner from your event for your certificate. If you are not aware of who the Event Planner is, you can reach out to CE Service for help identifying them. 
If you are missing a Texas HealthSteps certificate, please log into your Texas HealthSteps account and find the certificate in your Transcript.
