Registry of Health Care Providers and Referral Groups
The Registry of Health Care Providers and Referral Groups lists providers and groups willing to accept or withhold the transfer of a patient or assist with the transfer under the following circumstances:
- an attending physician does not follow a patient’s advance directive or treatment choice for life-sustaining care or
- the attending physician refuses to comply with an advance directive or treatment decision to withhold or withdraw life-sustaining treatment.
The list is provided in accordance with a directive from the 78th Texas Legislature and with consideration of entities able to provide or withhold treatment and services related to the Texas Advance Directives Act.
The list is provided for information purposes only. Neither THCIC nor the State of Texas endorses or assumes any responsibility for any representation, claim, or act of the listed providers or groups.
