Use the following tables to determine the cost of your hospital discharge data request.
Step 1: Determine the Base Data Cost
- Find your organization type in the table below.
- Look across the row for your organization and locate the cost in the column(s) for the year(s) or quarter(s) you want.
- If you’re requesting data for multiple years and/or quarters, add the yearly totals together to determine your final cost.

Step 2: Add Additional License Fees (if needed)
If more than one person in your organization will use the data, determine how many user licenses you need. (Skip this step if you only require one license)
- Find the corresponding license fee(s) in the table for the year(s) you’re purchasing.
- Add license fees for each year or quarter, if applicable.
- Add your total data cost (from Step 1) to your total license fee (from Step 2) to get your final cost.
