The Drugs and Medical Devices Unit is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday to receive complaints. 

 

Compliance Actions - Tattoo and Body Piercing Studios

Compliance/Disciplinary Actions are taken by regulatory authorities in response to a violation of the law or rules.  

Different kinds of actions may be taken depending on the: 

  • Severity of the offense.  

  • History of previous violations. 

  •  Efforts made to correct the violation. 

  • Harm to the victims. 

  •  Likelihood of a repeat violation. 

  •  Other matters related to each  case.  

 We take these actions to protect and promote the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Texas.
