Test Description This method provides a sample preparation procedure for the determination of total recoverable analytes in drinking water samples with turbidity ≥1.0 NTU and drinking water samples with visible particles.

  • Label each bottle with a waterproof marker.
  • Sample identification must match information on submission form.

Turn-around Time
  • Sample must be analyzed within 180 days of sample collection. 
  • The target sample turnaround time is 14 days.
Interferences/Limitations Contamination is of prime concern during sample preparation. Precautions must be taken to avoid use of tools that include elements of interest in their composition. The work are, including bench top and fume hood, should be periodically cleaned in order to eliminate environmental contamination.
