Non HHSC employees:
Instructions for accessing
TEXAS TRAIN are on the login screen. Make sure you are on the TEXAS TRAIN website, not the CDC TRAIN site. Use your agency email account (not a personal email account) as your user ID. When you create your account, select “Texas User Group” for State Portal under the GROUPS tab.
HHSC enterprise employees:
The system automatically creates an account for you when you are hired. Your email address is your user ID.
You must login before searching for a course. If you search for a course and try to register without logging in, you will get an error message.
If you have taken the online security course, you already have a login.
If you can’t remember your login, and the “Forgot your login/password” takes longer than 15 minutes to send you a link, DON’T CREATE ANOTHER ACCOUNT. Mary VanWisse can assist you to find your login or reset your password.
TEXAS TRAIN Tips:
- Please make sure you have turned off pop up blockers.
- If you experience technical difficulty, check the “system requirements” under the help menu on the home page. If you do not see a Help tab on the home page, select “CLASSIC TRAIN” from the upper right-hand side of the screen.
- Use one of the recommended system requirements.
