Volunteer with Operation Border Health (OBH)

Required Trainings for Staff
All staff personnel must submit the required forms and complete the mandatory training in order to participate in Operation Border Health Preparedness.
Note: Resource vendors, students, and spontaneous volunteers are only required to complete the HIPAA training.
Required trainings include:
- OBHP HIPAA Compliance Training | TX TRAIN - an affiliate of the TRAIN Learning Network powered by the Public Health Foundation
- OBHP Needle Stick and Splashes Training | TX TRAIN - an affiliate of the TRAIN Learning Network powered by the Public Health Foundation
Additional Training for Immunization and Clinical Staff
All Immunization (IMM) and Clinical Staff who will be administering vaccines must complete the following CDC trainings:
- Module 10 – Vaccine Storage and Handling | CDC
- Module 16 – Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program | CDC
Please ensure all trainings are completed and documentation is submitted prior to the event.
