Our Campus

Located in Southeast San Antonio, the Texas Center for Infectious Disease spans 56 acres designed to promote healing and well-being. The campus offers a calm, restorative environment where patients can enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces. Whether through organized activities or quiet moments of reflection, our grounds provide opportunities for rest, recovery, and renewal.

Patient Care

Patient and StaffAt the Texas Center for Infectious Disease, our skilled nursing staff is available 24 hours a day to support patients throughout their treatment journey. Each care plan is developed with input from a dedicated team – including a dietitian, social workers, therapists, and a chaplain – to meet the unique needs of every individual.

Because treatment may be long term, patients are provided with a variety of recreational and educational opportunities to support both recovery and quality of life such as:

Our mission is to walk alongside patients until their TB treatment is complete and to prepare them for a healthy return to their community, with the goal of ensuring they no longer require care at TCID.
