Texas Mutual Community Funding: Generational Learning Grants (May 16, 2025)
Grants for nonprofits supporting working families achieve economic stability, including health and wellness, access to childcare, and wraparound services. Award: $25,000 - $100,000. Geographic Scope: Texas.
Mary E. Bivins Foundation: Community Grants (May 19, 2025)
Funding focuses on short and long-term healthcare needs and support for the elderly and their families; and sharing resources with partners addressing critical community needs. Types of support for nonprofits include project funds; building funds; and equipment (including requests from rural communities for the purchase or upgrade of an ambulance or fire truck). CoServe Charitable Foundation (May 20, 2025)

Amarillo Area Foundation: Catalyst Grant Cycle (May 30, 2025)

Greater Fayette Community Foundation: Rural Community Health Fund Grant (Portal opens June 1, 2025)

The Tocker Foundation: Library Transformation Grants (June 1, 2025)

AWS Imagine Grant Program (June 2, 2025)

Harris and Eliza Kempner Fund (June 15, 2025)
Areas of interest include empowered youth; resilient Galveston Island; and vibrant culture. Award: $1,000 - $100,000. Geographic Scope: Galveston area.
Infinite Hero Foundation (June 15, 2025, Letter of Interest)
Connects U.S. military, veterans, and military family members with innovative and effective treatment programs for service-related injuries. Support is provided to nonprofit organizations in the United States committed to creating or working with cutting-edge technologies, methods, practices, or products that address the mental and physical challenges faced by military heroes and their families. Funding categories include physical rehabilitation, brain health (including TBI and PTS), suicide prevention, veteran leadership development, and military family support. Award: Up to $100,000. Rio Grande Electric Cooperative: Sharing Success Grant Program (June 15, 2025)

Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country: 2025 Community Impact Fund (July 1, 2025)
Project support and general operating grants for organizations addressing basic needs, including hunger; poverty; and lack of access to healthcare. This year's application will be available on May 20th. Award: Up to $15,000. Geographic Scope: Bandera, Blanco, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, Real, and Uvalde Counties.
E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation (July 15, 2025)
Program and operating support for a broad range of charitable activities. Award: $2,500 - $200,000. Geographic Scope: Temple, Texas.
Walmart: Spark Good Local Grants (July 15, 2025)
Grants to address the unique needs of the communities where Walmart operates in the United States. Grants are provided to organizations that operate locally and directly benefit the service area of local facilities in U.S. communities where Walmart stores, Sam’s Clubs, and distribution centers are located. Grants support various organizations, such as animal shelters, elder services, and community clean-up projects. Eligible applicants include nonprofits state or local government entities, including law enforcement or fire departments; K-12 public or nonprofit private schools, charter schools, and higher education institutions; and churches or other faith-based organizations with a proposed project that benefits the community at large, such as food pantries, soup kitchens, and clothing closets. Arthur N. Rupe Foundation: Dorothy Rupe Caregiver Program (Rolling Basis, Letter of Inquiry)
Support for respite programs and training and educational resources for family, professional, and volunteer caregivers. Letters of Inquiry (LOI) are accepted throughout the year. Invited proposals are reviewed three times per year. Award: $10,000 - $80,000. Geographic Scope: Nationwide.
BNSF Railway Foundation Grants (Rolling Basis)
Grants to organizations that operate near a BNSF railway line. Priority areas include health and human service organizations, programs that address chemical dependency treatment and prevention, spouse and child abuse, women's and children's aid, transitional shelters, hospitals, medical programs, youth development programs, and federally recognized tribes. Award: Not stated. Geographic Scope: Nationwide in areas near BNSF rail lines.
Community Heart and Soul Seed Grants (Rolling Basis)
Provides funding for resident-driven groups in small cities and towns (population under 30,000) to start the Community Heart & Soul model. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, government agencies, and community groups. Award: $10,000, with a $10,000 cash match from the participating municipality or a partnering organization. Geographic Scope: Nationwide.
Ed Rachal Foundation (Rolling Basis, Quarterly)
Grants for nonprofits and government agencies engaged in education; literary purposes; scientific purposes; social services; children/youth; health; environmental issues; arts/culture; and community affairs. Award: $5,000 - $50,000. Geographic Scope: Texas.
Foxwynd Foundation (Rolling Basis)
Grants for organizations engaged in environmental sustainability; recycling efforts; wildlife conservation and animal welfare; healthcare; food insecurity; and housing. The first step in the application process is to schedule an intake meeting. Award: $40,000+. Geographic Scope: California, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
GVTC Foundation (Rolling Basis)
Areas of giving include health and human services, youth programs and services, volunteer emergency services, education, and culture. Applicants include nonprofit organizations that meet at least one of the key giving areas, with programs/projects that connect to the GVTC service area. General operating and project support available. Award: $6,000 - $20,000. Geographic Scope: Bastrop, Bexar (North), Blanco, Caldwell, Comal, Dewitt, Hays (South), Kendall, Gonzales, Guadalupe, and Fayette Counties.
Incyte Healthcare-Related Charitable Contributions (Rolling Basis)
Support for organizations that ensure that students, healthcare providers, patients, caregivers, and patient advocates have access to healthcare information. Eligible applicants include medical schools, medical associations and societies, nonprofits; patient advocacy groups, and hospitals and medical centers. Award: Charitable contributions, sponsorships, and membership requests. Geographic Scope: Nationwide.
Kroger Charitable Giving: Zero Hunger | Zero Waste (Rolling Basis)
Support for nonprofits engaged in ending hunger and waste. Applications are processed quarterly. Award: Cash donations; sponsorships; gift card donations; and in-kind product donations. Geographic Scope: Nationwide in communities with Kroger stores.
Pineywoods Foundation (Rolling Basis)
Funding priorities include health; youth; and senior services. The Foundation encourages matching funds as evidence of community support. Eligible applicants include nonprofits and government agencies. Award: $2,500 - $50,000. Geographic Scope: Angelina, Cherokee, Houston, Jasper, Nacogdoches, Newton, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity, and Tyler Counties.
The Skatepark Project (Rolling Basis)
Grants to help nonprofits and municipalities build free, public skateparks or skatespaces in underserved communities. Award: Up to $25,000. Geographic Scope: Nationwide.
The Trull Foundation (Rolling Basis)
Grants for nonprofits, government agencies, and religious organizations. The Foundation is concerned with improving the quality of life for people in rural South Texas. Award: $1,000 - $50,000. Geographic Scope: Rural South Texas.
Public Funding Announcements
HHSC: Specialized Telecommunications Assistance Program (STAP) Outreach and Training Services (May 6, 2025)
HHS0015435. Funds to provide STAP services statewide or in HHSC regions. STAP is a voucher program for Texas residents with disabilities to purchase specialized telecommunications devices and services for access to telephone networks. Award: $340,000 per State fiscal year for five (5) years. Geographic Scope: Texas.
TWC: Building Construction Trades (May 6, 2025)
Funds to provide training leading to Industry-Based Certifications (IBCs) for participants, preparing them for employment in target occupations within Building Construction Trades (skilled trades). Award: Six (6) awards of up to $250,000 each. Geographic Scope: Texas.
City of San Marcos: Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) (May 8, 2025)
CDBG funds for projects that benefit San Marcos residents with low-to-moderate incomes. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public housing authorities, City of San Marcos departments, and other government entities. Eligible projects must align with the City of San Marcos' priorities, specifically affordable housing, public services, or public facilities. Award: A total of $713,000 is available. Geographic Scope: City of San Marcos.
TBDO: Texas Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Satellite Broadband Grant Program (May 23, 2025)
Pilot program funding to assess the feasibility of using satellite technology to expand broadband service capacity to hard-to-reach locations in rural areas. This competitive grant program will focus on areas of the state that did not attract competitive bids in prior grant programs. Award: Up to $30,000,000 available in total program funding. No match required. Geographic Scope: Brewster, Culberson, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, and Presidio Counties during the Initial Pilot Phase. At a later date, the BDO may expand the program to other unserved locations.
CPRIT: Dissemination of CPRIT-Funded Cancer Control Interventions (June 11, 2025)
Funds for projects that will facilitate the dissemination and implementation of successful CPRIT Prevention Program-funded, evidence-based cancer prevention and control interventions. Award: Two (2) awards of up to $450,000. Geographic Scope: Texas.
DOT: Safe Streets and Roads for All (June 26, 2025)
DOT-SS4A-FY25-01. Grants to support planning, infrastructural, behavioral, and operational initiatives to prevent death and serious injury on roads and streets. Grants are available in two categories: Planning and Demonstration, and Implementation. Eligible applicants include independent school districts; higher education institutions; City and County governments; and Native American tribal governments. Grants are provided to volunteer fire departments, emergency responders, cities and counties, schools, libraries, civic groups, museums, and other nonprofit organizations. Funded projects must be for capital improvements and must meet a need in one of the following areas: education; transportation; public safety; recreation; healthcare; fire department training; community planning; or employment. Women's Fund of Smith County (July 7, 2025)
Supports nonprofits benefiting women and children through arts and culture; education; health and wellness; and human services. Applicants must have an annual operating budget of $120,000 or more. Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation (July 10, 2025)
Areas of interest include life-saving equipment; disaster relief; prevention education; support for members of the military; and scholarships and continued education. The Foundation accepts the first 600 applications for each open cycle. Eligible applicants include fire departments, law enforcement, EMS organizations, nonprofits, and schools. Award: $15,000 - $25,000. Geographic Scope: Nationwide in communities with Firehouse Subs locations.
CenterPoint Energy Foundation (July 18, 2025)

Tyson Foods Corporate Giving Program (July 25, 2025)

American Psychological Foundation: Direct Action Visionary Grants (July 31, 2025)
Funds for innovative interventions, based on psychological knowledge, that directly address pressing community needs. Award: Up to $60,000. Geographic Scope: Nationwide.
Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio: Community Impact Grants (July 31, 2025)
This program provides grants that will have a significant impact in meeting the community's health needs, with an emphasis on communities demonstrating the greatest needs. Priority is given to support grassroots health activities, church health ministry development, and increased capacity to provide health services. Eligible applicants include nonprofits with less than $250,000 in actual revenue during the most recently completed fiscal year. The application portal opens on July 1st. Award: Up to $12,000. O’Reilly Automotive Foundation (July 31, 2025)
The Foundation's areas of interest include economic stability and mobility, including hunger, homelessness, and poverty; workforce development; health and social services; and disaster relief. Award: Grant sizes vary depending on the need and available funding. Geographic Scope: Communities where the company has a business presence.
Truist Community Grants (July 31, 2025)
Investing in innovative nonprofits that align with two key areas of focus: building career pathways to economic mobility and strengthening small businesses. The Foundation supports sustainable needs and does not commit funds to recurring expenditures. Examples include funding for a new program launch, a curriculum to expand or strengthen a program, equipment, and capital needs. Award: No set amount or average grant size. The minimum grant is $5,000. Giving amounts grow as the Foundation builds a relationship with the grantee. American Heart Association: Social Impact Fund (Rolling Basis)

Austin Together (Rolling Basis)
Supports nonprofit organizations as they explore and commit to formal collaborations that aim to maximize their impact in the Central Texas community. Collaboration across the nonprofit, private, and public sectors is encouraged. Types of support include readiness assessments, planning grants, and implementation grants.
