Funding Opportunities
School health programs have the potential to be one of the most efficient ways to improve the health of young people. One of the key resources needed to develop such programs is funding. Sources of funds to support school health programs are numerous. The information below includes some funding sources for Texas school districts. It also gives some helpful resources for writing grants.
We encourage you to sign up for the DSHS school health weekly e-newsletter, the Friday Beat. You will receive information on available grants, funding sources and other resources for schools.
