Texas Hospital Emergency Department Research Data File (ED RDF)
The Emergency Department Research Data File (ED RDF) contain data from Inpatient and Outpatient RDFs. This includes:
- Inpatients admitted through the ED
- Outpatients receiving services in the hospital ED
- and beginning with fourth quarter 2020, Freestanding Emergency Medical Centers (FEMC) ED data.
The ED RDF includes emergency data not added in the PUDF. It's ideal for researchers, universities, or government agencies studying specific concerns.
