About Us
The Public Health Workforce Training Center was established in 2022 to provide a centralized hub for health professionals to find relevant, high-quality, and accessible public health trainings and resources.
Our goal is to support public health professionals in continuing their education, advancing their careers, and strengthening the quality of public health services to Texans.
We do that by regularly assessing workforce training needs, connecting professionals to training resources, and consulting on or creating new trainings in coordination with internal and external subject matter experts and partners.
Our trainings can be delivered in-person, virtually, or as a self-paced e-learning using the TRAIN Texas learning management system.
