The Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies are:

- Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC)
These agencies are committed to protecting your civil rights, as defined by law. HHS agencies and their contractors and licensees must not discriminate in the provision of services, directly or through contractual or other arrangements.
Agency policies, as well as federal and state laws and regulations, protect clients from discrimination based on one or more of the following protected classes:

- Age
- Religion
- Disability
If you believe that you have been discriminated against in any HHS agency activity, service, or program, you can file a complaint.
