Field Sanitation - Public Health Sanitation Program

DSHS regulates temporary places of employment and agricultural hand-labor operations in the field with fewer than 11 employees, in accordance with 25 TAC, Chapter 295, Subchapter G, 295.161 – 295.169.

OSHA regulates any agricultural establishment where 11 or more employees are engaged on any given day in hand-labor operations in the field, in accordance with 29 CFR 1928.110.
