The Texas School Health Profiles (Profiles) is a
system of surveys assessing school health policies and practices in Texas.
Profiles surveys are conducted every two years by the Texas Department of State
Health Services among middle and high school principals and lead health
education teachers. Approximately 500 schools are chosen at random to participate by completing a principal and lead health education teacher questionnaire.
