Friends and Family
Friends and family play a powerful role in supporting the parents-to-be.
If you’re giving information that reinforces what the parents learned at the doctor’s office, they will be more likely to follow through on the recommendations.
Likewise, if what you tell parents is not what the doctor’s office said, parents-to-be may feel conflicted. They may not know who to trust. Make sure you have the most current information. Parents-to-be in your life need the best resources and to feel supported.
