The EMS and Trauma Systems Section licenses and certifies Texas Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals, providers and education programs. Our office also provides system funding, designates hospital levels of care for trauma, stroke, and perinatal services, and oversees the Texas Medical Advisory Board (MAB).
