Notices
New legislation went into effect on 9/1/2025.
County clerks must use the updated Declaration and Registration of Informal Marriage (VS-180.1) form and keep information confidential under certain conditions.
Local registrars and county clerks must waive the birth certificate fee on request of county or child welfare board under certain conditions.
